A lot of the folks I work with aren’t in crisis. They’re just tired — tired of the same worries, the same patterns that seem to stretch all the way back, the same feeling of being disconnected from themselves and the people around them. If that lands, keep reading.
I work with adolescents, emerging adults, and adults across a wide range of experiences. I have a particular passion for working with people in their late teens and twenties navigating trauma, and that stretch of life where everything feels new and uncertain at once, and the pressure to have it figured out can be overwhelming. I also work with men who are ready to do the kind of inner work that isn’t always easy to talk about, and with people carrying grief, relationship stress, anger, substance use concerns, and ADHD-related struggles that make daily life harder than it needs to be.
My approach is collaborative and grounded. We move at a pace that feels right for you. I draw on EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems-informed work, among other approaches that resonate with where you are. Trauma-informed thinking runs through everything I do, which means we build a foundation of trust and honor your own expertise and what you already know about yourself.
The goal isn’t just symptom relief. It’s helping you develop a clearer, kinder relationship with yourself. From there, the capacity for real, lasting change follows.
I’m based in Northbrook and Arlington Heights and also offer telehealth. I’m currently accepting new clients.
If any of this resonates, reach out and we’ll set up a brief call to see if we’re a good fit.
